I graduated from the University of Oklahoma, with a major in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in photography and media arts, and a minor in architecture. While serving my country and simultaneously perusing my higher education, I have adopted the philosophy of being a student of life. Which means; I am continuously learning and expanding my horizons, as well as exercising tolerance and diplomacy to different cultures and lifestyles that are different from me. As a result, it has enlightened me and made me unique in the global market. Education plays a vital role in this philosophy. To me, education is a gateway to self discovery and realization, which helps solve the many difficult challenges that life throws at us. While teaching overseas, it has been my aim to create an environment of tolerance and enlightenment, at the same time showing a commitment to learning. While being exposed to a different culture and lifestyle I am able to learn and grow as a person. Consequently I am constantly learning as much as the students that I teach. In addition, the experience has broaden my horizons, by being exposed to many things that other Americans do not experience in their lifetimes, which has made me more competitive globally. My philosophy on education is to cultivate the seeds of knowledge that is within the students, in as many ways as possible, at the same time producing a compassionate environment that encourages the students to achieve their full potential. I believe that the classroom is a small scale of a cycle of life. By giving the students the essential tools that they need on this scale, as they grow, they are better equipped and can better deal with real life.
