I am a Canadian ESL teacher who currently lives and teach in Sichuan Province, China. I am interested to teach English online. I am certified to teach ESL by Global TESOL College and also specialize in teaching IELTS and TOEFL Preparation courses. Starting March of this year, I was hired by another company to teach Academic Writing, Literature and American History (although I am Canadian) to US-bound Chinese High School students.

I love traveling as well. I have traveled to South Korea, Barbados, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. One of my hobbies include baking cakes, tortes and occasional cheesecakes. I am also a writer. I have written a Resource Book for ESL teachers with a matching Student's Workbook entitled, "Unlock the Secrets to Effective English Communication". In it, I argued that the focus for learning English should not only be on 'how to speak English' but equally important, the students must learn and be taught 'how to understand native English speakers' in order to successfully carry on a meaningful conversation and effective communication with English speakers.
