I am Luicelena Perez and I am from Venezuela. I am the kind of person who believes in hard work. I moved to USA when I was 16 years old and I did not know any English, then before coming to college I had to learn English in 3 months, and here I am at the University of Alabama currently a junior studying Marketing. As a student-athlete at The University of Alabama, I have developed my organizational and time management skills by maintaining good grades and at the same time performing well on the tennis court. I developed my leadership skills as a member of The University of Alabama Women’s tennis team. I was selected to be team captain my senior year and I participated in the D.R.I.V.E. leadership program for Alabama student-athletes. I have further developed my communication skills with my tennis teammates and also by working at a tennis camp where I was interacting constantly with coaches, players and other staff members. As a team captain is significant to deliver the important information in the correct way so I continue building relationships with my team members to strengthen bonds and show my leadership. I am a self-starter and I am always open to learn new task. I managed the website for the tennis association in Carabobo in Venezuela. I have computer knowledge, which includes Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; and also accounting operation system.
I am really interested in becoming a member of a motivated marketing team, and I look forward to discussing any opportunity that would help me growth on the business field. Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing are things that I really enjoy, and the tasks associated with this position will keep me motivated to perform well.
