Hello there! My name's Austin Goldsmith, and I'm a native English speaker from New York state. I have studied both French and Spanish extensively, and have had the opportunity to travel to France for a month through Rotary International. I also speak regularly with native Spanish speakers of Dominican, Mexican, and Ecuadoran descent. Since I am enrolled in French 202 and Spanish 192, I feel confident that I could effectively teach basic to advanced intermediate French and basic to intermediate Spanish. I'm interested in learning several languages to whichever level you can offer, but mainly in Arabic (of any region), Mandarin Chinese, or Russian. In case you may be wondering about what else we could have in common, I am an avid student of history, love spending time running, and am very engaged in politics (though I can always keep the politics to a minimum!, never fear).
