I have only been studying mandarin for about 5 months now. It is the usual tourist talk, but I am engaged to a wonderful Chinese woman and we are both learning each others language at the same time.
As I am retired I think I can spend a little more time and effort to learn more conversational talk and would dearly love to surprise my fiancee.
I am willing to just trade time and languages to achieve this. Are you the one to help me.
I am an Australian male aged 54, I have very good writing skills and as I have had exposure to many different nationalities in my working career, I have learned that patience and speed of speech is very important.
I look forward to meeting someone, preferably local in Zhengzhou as I will be here until 2013-12-23, but I will not limit it to here as I can use the internet if needed.
I have week days free, unless my fiancee does get a day off from work, then I will not be available.
