Hello!! I am a 28 year veteran teacher from Ohio who also has 2 years of experience teaching in Nashville, Tennessee. I have my master's degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy as well as my Educational Leadership Certificate which has allowed me 2 years of principalship at an PreK-5 Elementary Building.
I have a strong faith background which keeps me focused and grounded. It is here where I developed my love of children and teaching together. While gaining my Undergraduate degree at Ohio University, I had the opportunity to work at my church preschool nurturing children ages 2-5 years old. I have spent the majority of my teaching career in the Kindergarten-3rd grade areas.
I am now interested in the venturing out to the world of online learning where I'd like to be able to specialize in specific areas such as teaching the whole child. Typical public school settings have changed drastically throughout my career and I want to get back to the basics: teaching children where they are and guide them to grow where they can and need to be!!
