I have worked with ABB Global Industries and Service Private Ltd for two years after my under graduation in Computer Science. My primary role was that of a Research and Development Engineer. I have demonstrated an ability to design and implement User Interface in existing and new products. I was part of a project named “Process Portal A” (PPA), which is a software application used to control various plant operations. I handled all the User Interface related components. UI is the visual and it’s very important that it should be very user-friendly and configurable as well. So I am adept at writing well-structured and easily maintainable code using java,C++ and technologies like COM and Visual Studio.
I have also worked on another project named Trends History and Behaviour which deals with the development of a product which monitors the behaviour of various plants. My task was to handle one of its features “Trend Display” which displays behaviour of different plant components under different conditions and time periods. Hence I got a chance to work in C#, HTML and Visual Studio. I am competent at working with clients, support, and QA teams to resolve bugs and support issues. I am well versed in providing detailed feedback on documentation and test plans for features. I have great logical, debugging, testing (Unit Testing, Integration testing) and reasoning skills. I also have a great passion for providing quality solutions. Along with all these, I got the chance to use technologies like SPY++ and WinDB.
My academic Projects mentioned in the resume prove my technical skills in Oracle Database, JAVA and technology like Eclipse. I have created an Application for Hotel Management which is used for tracking guest details and revenue of hotel. And also as part of under graduation major Project, I have developed a Web Application to protect both identifications and relationships to sensitive information in data. Basically, I proposed a new anonymity model for the project ‘Enhanced data Anonymity for Privacy Preservation in cloud”. Along with this, I have showcased my skills in the database in Project named “Student database Management System “by doing an application for recording and retrieving student information.In both projects, I used Java as the programming language. Additionally, I have experience in working on MATLAB and JUnit testing. I have done small projects like animating system block diagrams, demonstrating TCP handoff, code migration, intricate Coda file system in MATLAB. As part of Software testing course, I have written many test cases as well. Currently, I am working on an Android Project to develop an App named “Book My Hall” which is aimed to use in the University. Also, I have started working on Cloud computing area which would enhance my technical skills since it comprises all the characteristics of other technologies including distributed grid and ubiquitous computing.
