Hello! I'm a Jesus follower, homeschool mom with 5 kids (2 are now adults), and a certified teacher with a minor in Spanish. I have been teaching in some capacity since 2005 and became certified in trauma and addiction recovery coaching in 2024, which granted me the tools to help students learn how to manage their emotions and self-regulate, as well as how to start their healing journey from traumas in their lives. I specialize in teaching children how to read and have been trained in the Science of Reading. My method of decoding works even with dyslexia students. I love exploring and adventuring out in nature, spending time making memories with my family (including our dog Bella and our two cats Hopper and Bailey), and playing my ukelele.
