For many years, I have worked as a music educator, private instructor, academic tutor, and program leader, helping students of all ages develop confidence, skills, and a lifelong appreciation for learning. My experience spans individual instruction, small-group teaching, classroom education, ensemble direction, and community-based educational programming.

A significant portion of my career has been devoted to private and group music instruction. I have taught students ranging from young beginners to advanced performers in piano, guitar, bass guitar, and a variety of band instruments, including flute, clarinet, and saxophone. My instruction focuses on developing strong fundamentals in technique, music literacy, performance skills, musicianship, and personal growth while adapting lessons to meet each student's individual learning style and goals.

In addition to private instruction, I have extensive experience directing school music programs and ensembles. As a band director and music educator, I have taught beginning, intermediate, and advanced instrumental students while leading rehearsals, coordinating performances, developing curriculum, and preparing students for concerts, assessments, and community events. These experiences have strengthened my ability to manage diverse learning environments while fostering student achievement, collaboration, and engagement.

Beyond music education, I have provided academic tutoring and educational support in reading and other core academic subjects. Working with students in both one-on-one and small-group settings, I have helped learners strengthen reading comprehension, study skills, academic confidence, and overall classroom performance. My approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, individualized instruction, and building positive relationships that support long-term success.

As the founder and operator of Bartlett Music Academy, I developed and managed instructional programs designed to serve students with a wide range of educational backgrounds, interests, and abilities. This experience provided valuable opportunities to coordinate scheduling, communicate with families, oversee instructional programming, and create learning environments that were both welcoming and effective.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to helping students reach their potential through personalized instruction, positive mentorship, and meaningful educational experiences. Whether teaching music, supporting academic growth, or leading group learning activities, I strive to create engaging environments that encourage confidence, discipline, creativity, and achievement.
