I am a former elementary school teacher with 19 years experience. I am certified in elementary self-contained 1st-6th grade. I am also certified in ESL through 12th grade. Most of my classroom experience is in general education 1st and 3rd grade. I spent my entire teaching career in La Joya ISD which is one of the largest school districts in South Texas which services mostly economically disadvantaged and limited english proficient students. I resigned at the end of the 2021 school year. In addition to my teaching experience, I am also a NASM certified, experienced fitness instructor and personal trainer with CPR/AED certification as well. I currently work as a self-employed personal trainer. I am planning to relocate to Austin, Texas and would like to find reliable employment in the area.
