Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. Hello! I’m a credentialed bilingual (Spanish-English) educator with 25+ years of experience teaching and tutoring elementary-age students. I bring the expertise of a classroom educator into a personalized one-on-one setting, creating thoughtful, engaging instruction around each child’s individual strengths, learning style, pace, interests, and goals.
My areas of expertise include reading, writing, English language arts, math, Spanish, and elementary education. I believe effective teaching is not about simply getting through a curriculum. It’s about understanding how a child learns, identifying what motivates them, and creating meaningful experiences that build both academic skills and confidence.
For families seeking a homeschool teacher, I can provide a structured and personalized learning experience that combines academic rigor with curiosity, creativity, and flexibility. I can develop and adapt lessons, monitor progress, and communicate with parents about learning goals, progress, and areas for continued growth.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time with friends and community, and volunteering my time teaching adults. I’m naturally curious and love learning myself, which is something I enjoy bringing into my work with students.
I offer private homeschool teaching up to four days per week, with morning or afternoon availability. I also offer flexible tutoring throughout the week.
My goal is to help each student become a confident, capable, and curious learner, not simply succeed academically today, but develop the skills and mindset to continue learning with confidence for years to come.
