Teaching isn't just what I do, it is who I am. Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching everything from elementary to university-level pedagogy. I am particularly passionate about reading instruction and the doors it opens for every student.
I believe so deeply in the power of education that I returned to school myself, completing my Doctorate at age 50. This experience reinforced my belief that we should never stop growing. In my classroom, I work to move beyond the traditional "student" role, instead fostering a "learner" mindset rooted in problem-solving and curiosity. To me, being a lifelong learner is more than a motto, it’s a way of life I hope to pass on to every human I teach.
