With 14 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of teaching students in grades 1–5 and watching them grow academically, socially, and personally. I hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, along with endorsements in both Mathematics and History.

I believe that every child has the ability to learn and grow when they are given the right encouragement, support, and opportunities. My goal as an educator is not only to help students strengthen their academic skills, but also to build their confidence and foster a genuine love of learning. I strive to make lessons fun, engaging, and meaningful by connecting learning to students’ interests and individual needs.

I especially enjoy working with students who are eager to learn, curious about the world around them, and motivated to challenge themselves. I understand that every student learns differently, and I believe effective teaching begins with getting to know the child behind the student. Whether a learner needs additional support, wants to strengthen foundational skills, or is ready to be challenged academically, I work to meet them where they are and help them take the next step.

I am experienced in teaching across multiple state-sponsored and Christian-based curricula, adapting instruction to meet diverse educational goals and individual learning needs. Skilled in integrating subjects to strengthen connections and deepen understanding, while also providing focused, subject-specific instruction. Experienced in both whole-group and small-group settings, including teaching mixed-age students in science and social studies. I take time to thoughtfully plan engaging, personalized lessons that reflect each student’s strengths, interests, and areas for growth. I also utilize a variety of assessments to identify gaps in understanding, guide instruction, monitor progress, and reinforce foundational skills and concepts.
