My husband and I currently reside in his hometown in Minnesota. We added "empty nesters" to our personal profiles a few weeks ago and are learning new rhythms. I miss a full house!

My teaching experiences are broad. Before we had children and moved to Central Asia, I taught in a private school and then in public schools. While we were overseas, I homeschooled our four children and then founded a one-room school house for State Department families. We had two families join ours for daily learning. Since our return to the United States, I've taught art, literature and writing in both homeschool co-ops and in our home. Currently, I am stretching myself with an online teaching position. Learning to teach through a screen is a whole new world!

We've also had the honor of fostering eleven little loves.

Now that I focus very few hours on raising children, I would like to expand my professional career. I am interested in tutoring, teaching reading with the Science of Reading methodolgy, teaching writing, or homeschooling your children.
