I am currently in my 23rd year of teaching Elementary and Middle School. I have taught at schools on all ends of the spectrum, from at-risk to schools who serve mostly upper-middle class. Both have their share of challenges. They also have many reminders of why I chose to become a teacher in the first place...the students. I truly love what I do and strive to be the best teacher that I can be. In order to continue loving what I do, I have to keep learning and staying on top of all the current, innovative trends in education. To do this, I'm always researching the best ways to make learning engaging and interactive for students. Educational technology plays a key role in this.
