I have worked in childcare since 2013 and been an educator since 2022. I have experience with all ages 13 and below. I adore children, love knowledge, and am always looking to grow and improve in all aspects of my life. I believe inquiry based, student lead learning is essential in teaching students accountability and independence. I feel passionately that logic, deductive reasoning, executive functioning skills, and social emotional learning are all equally as important as core subjects. In my opinion, forming genuine relationships with students as individuals is foundational in the classroom. It maintains a safe and positive environment, reciprocates respect, and allows students the freedom to be themselves. I believe each child deserves to be met where they are, have access to all tools needed to be successful, and celebrated for their growth, no matter what that looks like.
