Hello! I’m Alicia, an early childhood educator with ten years of experience supporting children ages 3–12 in preschool, elementary school, reading intervention, summer camp, and pediatric settings.

My teaching style is warm, patient, creative, and responsive to each learner’s individual needs. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, understood, and encouraged. Whether we are building early literacy skills, completing schoolwork, exploring a creative project, or developing confidence and independence, I strive to make learning engaging and positive.

My experience includes providing one-to-one and small-group academic support, assisting students with social-emotional and behavioral needs, facilitating K–2 literacy activities, creating developmentally appropriate lessons, and leading art, recreation, and team-building experiences. My background in child development and family studies also helps me see each student as a whole person and work collaboratively with families.

Creativity is an important part of who I am. In addition to teaching, I enjoy finding imaginative ways to bring art and hands-on exploration into learning. I look forward to helping your child strengthen their skills, discover their interests, and become a more confident learner!
