I am an experienced K-8 educator and instructional leader with more than 12 years of teaching and administrative experience, specializing in reading intervention, literacy development and individualized learning support. I’ve taught 2nd grade, 5th grade, and middle school reading. I’ve also served in roles such as Assistant Principal, Dean of Student and Director of Education. This blend of classroom and leadership experience allows me to support students academically, behaviorally, and emotionally with a well-rounded, student centered approach.
My teaching style is structured all, and highly supportive. I believe students thrive when expectations are clear, instruction is engaging, and learning is tailored to their unique needs. I use data progress monitored, and evidence-based strategies to help students grow - especially in reading, writing, and foundational skills. I also prioritize strong communication with families so that we can work as a team to support each child.
Whether I’m tutoring, homeschooling or providing supplemental academic support, my goal is always the same: to help students build confidence, develop strong skills, and experience meaningful success.
