¡Hola! My name is Gwen Walker, and I have a myriad of work experience. I am certified to teach Spanish in grades Prek-12th grade. I have taught college level Spanish class, and I just finished getting a certificate to teach English as a Second Language. I am able to teach/tutor elementary school subjects as well. My goal is for the student to feel safe and confident in our environment so that he or she can learn. I love to focus on the student's strengths and encourage them in the areas he or she may be weak. I believe learning in a context with stories and topics that interest the child is important and better than rote memorization. I want the student to be all he or she can be!
