I have spent the last 14 and a half years working in public education in various roles. Teaching is my passion, the students are my motivation to continue to grow and improve as a teacher. I truly never get tired of watching students gain knowledge and understanding, especially with a skill that was challenging for them. Whether it is a Kindergarten student who starts to build on phonemic skills and begins to read, or a second grader finally finding a method to solve problems with regrouping, I am delighted to be a part of their journey.

I bring almost 15 years experience of flexibility, making micro decisions on the fly, planning and implementing engaging lessons on a variety of subjects, collecting data, analyzing data, and using data to make decisions about my students’ knowledge base and continuing needs, developing meaningful relationships, and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
