It is said that everyone has a certain calling or vocation in life. It takes a special individual with charisma and perseverance, to educate children and accept the challenges and responsibilities that accompany it. During my 10 years as a professional educator, I taught preschoolers through middle school in both public and private schools. These experiences validated my ability to quickly mold into my environment and adapt to change. I learned I must always be prepared and knowledgeable in every content area as well as grade level. After having these opportunities in the classroom, working collaboratively with administration and faculty to determine appropriate curricula for the school district, and teaching children online, I know that I was given the gift of an inspiring teacher.
