Hi there! I'm a current homeschooling mom with a background in Middle School, High School, and College level education.

My teaching history includes:


homeschooling my 11 year old through his entire education and in all subjects


helping in various subjects/grade levels as a Paraprofessional in Middle School for 1 school year


teaching 9th, 10th, and 12th Literature in High School for four years


teaching English 1101 and 1102 at Georgia State University for three semesters

I've known since I was a child that I wanted to be an educator, to the point of spending my allowance on workbooks, whiteboards, and other teacher supplies for my imaginary classroom. As my lifelong dream, it was only natural to obtain my Bachelors in English and Masters in English Education. I have a deep love of education in general and have a knack for connecting with kids. My focus is always on enabling my students to be well-rounded humans through engaging curriculum and by creating a safe space for them to be themselves. I would love to meet your little learner(s) and see if we would be a good fit for each other!
