Hi! My name is Annie-Laurie and I am a WA certified elementary teacher with 7.5 years of experience teaching 1st-3rd. I also have my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I believe in partnering with families to provide the best individualized education for each child. I am a strong believer in incorporating social-emotional learning, play-based experiences, and specific interests of the child within my lessons.
I believe in teaching to the whole child and building positive, supportive relationships. As a mom of 4, I know how important it is to feel secure in who is teaching your child. I also am a big believer in parents knowing their child best and will always look to include them in their child’s learning.
I am interested in virtual teaching for families where traditional schools are either not an option or not in the best interest of the child.
