From parents:

Communicates clearly about ways in which we can contribute to the school and church community. Provides us with suggested activities which strengthen our family as a unit. Appreciative of our efforts to raise our children as best we can. Understanding of the joys and difficulties of parenting.
From Students:

She shows us ways to use our strengths to be more successful as learners. She teaches us strategies we can use when we are discouraged or having trouble in certain areas.
She encourages us to be the best versions of ourselves. She is really interested in what we have to say. Her classroom is organized so we know what to expect and we can concentrate, it is a place we feel safe to be ourselves. She insists on kindness from everyone so her classroom is an enjoyable place to be.
She makes learning fun. She plays games with us that help us learn. It is always exciting to go to her office and see what she is going to have us work on that day. We like how she has a tongue twister, brainteaser, Lost in the United States with Penelope Peabody, find the misfit, word of the day, greek and latin root study, bible verse dictation, and growth mindset question for us each week. She lets us create review activities for our classmates using Quizlet, reviewgamezone.org, Scholastic fact files, classtools.net, Fling the Teacher, Four Corners, Kahoot, Scoot. and Creating our own board game.
