I am an experienced elementary educator with 11 years of teaching across grades Pre-K through 3rd grade. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching along with a trauma informed care certificate and have consistently earned Skilled ratings on my Ohio Teacher Evaluation System (OTES) evaluations. Throughout my career, I have taught in private, charter, and public school settings, which has allowed me to develop a wide range of experience with diverse students, learning environments, and curriculum programs.

I am passionate about using trauma-informed practices and believe that strong relationships and safe learning environments are essential for student success. I focus on hands-on, engaging learning experiences that incorporate STEM, Project based learning, social-emotional learning, and developmentally appropriate practices. I strongly believe in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and work to ensure that students feel loved, supported, valued, and ready to learn each day.

My teaching philosophy centers on doing what is best for children. I differentiate instruction to meet each student where they are, while honoring their unique strengths and gifts. I strive to create inclusive classrooms where all students feel empowered, challenged, and encouraged to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
