I am an experienced educator with over 15 years in education, currently teaching fifth grade while also serving as a curriculum coach and mentor to new and student teachers. I specialize in building strong reading and writing skills through engaging, standards-aligned instruction, and I bring that same focus into my work as the owner of Write Steps Tutoring, where I support K–8 students, primarily in first and fifth grade. I am passionate about creating personalized learning experiences that meet students where they are, helping them grow in both confidence and ability. I value strong relationships with students and families, clear communication, and a supportive learning environment. I am now looking to bring my experience into a more flexible, individualized teaching setting where I can focus on meaningful, one-on-one learning and student success.
