Hello! I am Sofia, a Certified Educator in Florida, former Elementary school Teacher with bachelor's degree in education.
I worked more than 10 years in Public Elementary school setting and privately as
Ηomeschool Τeacher , a Τutor and an ESOL instructor teaching English to non-native speakers of other languages.
I have been an in-home homeschool teacher and Tutor for Elementary students successfully for the last seven years now, teaching Math, Reading, Writing,
Language Arts, Social Studies and Science.
Letters of recommendation from families I worked with, are also available.
Μy teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive, supportive and interactive learning environment where every student can understand challenging concepts, strengthen their skills and build confidence.
My approach is patient, motivating and tailored to each student's needs.
In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities through swimming, boating and I love spending time with my family.
Whether your child needs to be homeschooled or needs support in Elementary reading, writing and math, my goal is to help them feel supported and successful!
If you are looking for a reliable, professional and caring homeschool teacher or tutor in person or online, I can help you.
I look forward to hearing from you!
