My love for education started as a student. I was the quintessential "nerd" - never missing a class, doing all my work, and making good grades. That love carried over into my career choice. After 28 years in education, I've learned teaching is my God-given talent. I have the ability to meet students where they are, quickly develop rapport, and show my students they are important to me. Teaching is more than reading, writing, and arithmetic. It is about teaching the individual how to think and become a productive member of society.
