I am a dedicated and accomplished educator with over 20 years of experience teaching and leading in elementary and middle school settings. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Eastern Washington University with endorsements in Reading (K–12) and Early Childhood Education (P–3), as well as a Master of Education in Literacy from Washington State University.
Currently, I teach 6th Grade Earth Science, 7th Grade Biology, and Religion at Christ the King School in Richland, Washington, where I also provide leadership through team collaboration, school-wide scheduling, and coordinating major events such as the annual middle school science fair and student service projects. I create engaging learning experiences for students, including organizing yearly class trips and facilitating meaningful faith-based community events.
I have also served as a District Science Laser Facilitator and staff development trainer, and have been recognized for excellence in teaching and STEM leadership, including receiving the Lawrence and Lillian Jacobs Endowment Excellence in Teaching Award (2024). Beyond the classroom, I have demonstrated community leadership as Chair of the Tri-Cities Preparatory High School Board and as an active leader in Scouting and school fundraising events.
