I am a passionate educator who enjoys working with students primarily in grades 3-5. I have experience as a special educator for 9 years where I provided services in reading (Orton Gillingham), math, and social skills and executive functioning. I also have extensive training in behavior management, trauma informed practices, and holistic education. For the past three years I have been a fourth grade teacher, teaching all subject areas to my class and primarily focusing on English and Language Arts instruction.

I have my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education, and my masters degree in Educational Psychology. I am also a life long learner and continue taking graduate classes to extend my knowledge and skill base and keep up with current practices.
