Hello! My name’s Ruby Padua. Ruby is both my name and my nickname. I am 74 years old but most people who know me say that I don’t look my age.
I like reading articles about wellness especially those that could help prevent the illnesses that run in my family line. I live in Palawan, voted as the most beautiful island in the world and as I live very close to the sea, I take the opportunity to do two of the things I enjoy doing, swimming and snorkeling.
I am a professional language teacher, having taught Philippine languages and English to a lot of Europeans and Asians who come to the Philippines to work as Embassy diplomats, missionaries, business persons, and students who pursue their studies in some local universities here.
I am deeply interested in helping people overcome their difficulties in learning the language as I believe that helping them achieve proficiency in speaking the language is the best souvenir a teacher could give her students. Thank you.
