I am a mom of two and a grandma of one. I love spending time with my family. I enjoy going for walks, reading a book, relaxing in the pool and cooking. This is my fourth year to teach PreK Counts at a private childcare center. Teaching is my passion. Although my certifications are in elementary and early childhood education, I have worked with students of all ages in different capacities. I was an AmeriCorp teacher one year and a classroom teacher in second grade at a Catholic school for 7 years. I worked as a substitute teacher at various times throughout my career for grades K-12. I taught Chinese children (ages 4 to 12) and High School Seniors enrolled in the Health Academies at the Community College of Beaver County online. I also helped a family home school their three children. I feel that teaching gives me the opportunity to make a difference in my students lives by helping them grow academically and also socioemotionally.
