Teaching has always been a true calling for me, and it is a privilege to work alongside young people to help them discover a love of learning and find their path to success. At the heart of my teaching is a desire to genuinely connect with my students, so they feel cared for and valued, and to equip them to become curious, resilient thinkers who aren't afraid of a challenge. I design thought-provoking, engaging curriculum - drawing on best practices, standards, research, and knowing my students - because I want them to feel empowered and excited to learn. I am committed to meeting each child's individual needs with both care and skill, while also fostering the self-reliance and independence they need to thrive. With all of my students, I draw from a wealth of experience and training to meet them where they are at. I have an extensive amount of experience working with students with language-based learning differences, ADHD, Executive Functioning needs, and social emotional needs. I am looking for part-time or summer work only and/or tutoring online during the school year.
