I enjoyed the unique benefits of being homeschooled through most of my elementary and middle school years by my mom. I am a strongly independent learner and initiator, having completed an independent high school curriculum while also helping to educate my younger brothers. I went on to thrive at a private liberal arts college where I earned my B.S. in Biology and minor in music. I was and have remained involved in the tutoring profession most passionate in tutoring English. I have had excellent educational experiences that I seek to pass on to the next generation of students. I believe educational success is enhanced with other extra- curricular activities. I have been swimming since I was old enough to walk and I singing since I was old enough to talk. I am classically trained in music and hold a minor Italian opera.
