Hi! My name is Dr. K, and I’m an elementary educator with over 25 years of experience working with young learners (PreK-5th grade). Throughout my career I’ve taught all core subjects - reading, writing, math, science, health, and social studies - and I love creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that help children build curiosity, confidence, and a strong academic foundation. I enjoy designing lessons that connect learning to real life through projects, exploration, and meaningful conversations.

Some of my favorite parts of teaching are helping children develop a love of learning, encouraging creativity, and watching them grow into independent thinkers. I especially enjoy working with students as they develop early literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.

For the 2026–2027 school year, I am available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. My goal is to build a long-term partnership with a family, creating a warm, structured, and joyful learning environment where children feel supported and excited to learn each day.
