I teach English, Humanities, Film, and Media across IB, A-Level, AP, GCSE, and international curricula. My approach is rigorous but humane: I prioritize close reading, clear thinking, strong writing, and the development of an authentic intellectual voice. I've worked with students from highly gifted to those needing more structure and confidence, across UK, US, and international contexts.
I believe the best teaching connects texts and ideas to history, ethics, place, politics, and lived experience. I bring high standards, clarity, and calm practical judgement to work with students and families.
Outside the classroom, I read widely, follow film and museums, engage with environmental questions and animal advocacy, walk, and connect across cultures.
