I am a certified elementary educator with over 14 years of experience teaching in public, charter, homeschool, and small-group settings. I have taught in metropolitan urban and suburban areas of Detroit, MI, as well as in a small town in South Carolina, which has strengthened my ability to adapt to diverse learners and environments. I specialize in creating engaging, personalized instruction that supports multiple grade levels and varying learning needs.
I am passionate about fostering creativity, helping students take pride in their work, and creating a supportive environment where children feel confident and motivated. I value strong partnerships with families and work collaboratively with parents to align instruction with each child’s needs and goals.
I am currently homeschooling my daughter and will be available at the end of May. Outside of education, I enjoy gardening, hope to start a chicken coop, and am interested in learning how to upcycle vintage furniture.
