I’ve been a teacher since 2001. I have over 13 years of classroom teaching experience in 4th, 5th and 6th grade. I've taught summer school with 1st and 2nd graders, and have taught reading programs in all grades. I have 2 years of special education classroom experience as a consultant teacher. I hold a teaching certificate in California and New York in both general education and special education. I’ve taught in an inclusive classroom for over 10 years. I believe all children can learn anything when taught in a way they can understand.

I’m creative, flexible and love learning! I enjoy teaching through experiences, and real life examples. I’m an avid traveler and enjoy sharing my experiences with my students. I taught in California during COVID times so I have real life online learning and teaching experience. I'm fluent with most computer software and educational programs that are available in today's educational world. I've attended many Google conferences to learn about the vast offerings that they provide for teachers and student learning and I am fluent with Microsoft office and Google platforms.
