Hello, my name is Tracy Dove, and I am a certified special education teacher with an M.A. in Early Childhood Special Education and over a decade of experience supporting young learners. I specialize in working with children in the early childhood and elementary grades, particularly students who benefit from individualized instruction, extra academic support, or specialized learning strategies.

My teaching approach is warm, patient, and student-centered. I believe every child learns differently, and I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, interests, needs, and learning style. From there, I create engaging, differentiated lessons that help children build confidence, independence, and foundational skills.

I have experience supporting students with a range of learning and developmental needs, including autism, intellectual disabilities, communication challenges, and complex medical needs. I have designed and implemented individualized instruction in literacy, math, social skills, communication, and early learning readiness. I also use data and observation to guide instruction and adjust lessons so that each child receives the right support at the right time.

Families are an important part of a child’s success, and I value clear, consistent communication with parents. My goal is to create a supportive partnership where families feel informed, heard, and confident in their child’s progress.

What drives my work is the belief that every child can learn and thrive when given patient, compassionate, and individualized support.
